โIt is this Committeeโs duty, regardless of administration, to conduct oversight.โ
โWhen people say, 'Oh, you gave the Democrats a win,' I say, 'No, I gave my district a win.'โ
โ๏ธ In fairness: their side
We found no statement from Garbarino explaining these three votes. He describes his approach this way: "Part of my personality is being able to bring people together, you know, get things done, break down barriers." Defending a 2021 cross-party vote, he said he "gave my district a win." He voted yes on the narrower Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act (H.R. 6703) on Dec. 17, 2025, and as a SALT Caucus co-chair he helped negotiate the $40,000 cap deal. He calls oversight of any administration the committee's duty.
