๐ The short version
Fitzpatrick broke with his party more than any other House Republican in 2025, according to Roll Call. He was one of only two Republicans to vote against the final One Big Beautiful Bill. He signed the Democrats' petitions to force votes on Obamacare subsidies and on TPS for Haitians, and he voted against the DOGE spending cuts. He was one of just three Republicans who voted for the Equality Act in 2021.
โPresident Trump said he was "disappointed" that Fitzpatrick voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill.โ
